David Kunzelman is a seasoned IT Operations Manager and a forward-thinking leader in the integration of artificial intelligence into business and technology landscapes. With over two decades of experience spearheading IT operations, David has demonstrated expertise in driving system availability, optimizing workflows, and enhancing operational efficiencies within critical environments.

Tech Journey & AI Mastery

In June 2023, David embarked on a transformative journey with ChatGPT, experiencing a significant "lightbulb moment" in September that propelled him to delve deeply into AI. His commitment led him to an advanced AI training program (receiving a course completion certificate) focused on prompt engineering, where he mastered developing user-centric strategies to streamline ChatGPT adoption across various industries. It was at this time David established Fast Track GenAI and began to build his business with a vision to empower people with AI. In addition, David has dedicated hundreds of hours to both learning AI and how to develop both a learning course and associated tools to empower people new to AI.

David has been instrumental in designing tailored chatbots and systems that expedite ChatGPT usage, democratizing AI access without the need for extensive training. IT Operations Career Highlights

  • ATSV Manager:

    Led Enterprise integration by mapping resources and functions across Information Technology operations departments. Performed integration of all ITSM processes and ServiceNow modules through mapping and building out workflows and documentation.

  • Esurance IT Change and Problem Manager:

    Successfully spearheaded ServiceNow ITSM system migration from Frontrange HEAT, while implementing  Discovery and a Configuration Management  Database (CMDB)  for the first time in company history.  Developed efficient and accurate reporting mechanisms and Dashboards. Through implementing effective problem management, reduced outages and Meant Time to repair effectively improving production availability 30% year over year for three years straight. 

  • Esurance Senior Manager of Production Services:

    Provided management and leadership to 66 reports across 17 offices, including service help desk, site end user support (MIS), change management, production support, and NOCC across different departments

  • Formulated long-term strategies and vision across all areas of responsibility, including procedures and performance standards to attain objectives.

  • Initiated statistical data for production services; forwarded status on production services activity and metrics to senior management; and recommended suggestions for improvement.

  • Spearheaded management information system (MIS) customer services levels, policies, and programs by applying statistical approach and metrics; built effective systems for task management, monitoring, and workflow.

  • Took charge of creating and managing changes into the production environment which included production release process as well as software, hardware, operating system, and delivery infrastructure.

  • Instituted best in class Network Operations Command Center and helpdesk services, maximizing resources across the organization to promptly address production issues. 

  • Devised multiple Tableau dashboards with numerous reports for monitoring performance in IT service desk, application performance & Availability,  change and problem management.
